That bold idea within you demands something: a look inside.

It won’t come alive until you cultivate a reflective spirit. As JC Ryle put it, “He would would build high must first dig deep.”

So dig deep this week on some foundational questions. Ask yourself:

  • What am I willing to do without to make room for what is to become?
  • What challenges or obstacles will be big enough to stop me?
  • What are the faith lessons I am learning and how can I better listen to the voice of the Master?

Start with those three. Journal. Reflect. Pray. Great ideas take time to cultivate. Without reflection, you may not be able to discern a good idea from a great one.

Take out your spade of reflection and dig deep for the greater treasure God has put within you.
